STRAWBERRY & BANANA SMOOTHIE BOWLDo you like Acai bowl? Its cold, sweet and nice dish to start your day. I love it so much, especially in the summer time, but acai puree is not cheap, right? 😉 It doesn’t be only acai! You can make your own original fruits bowl every day! This is one of my favourite bowls – STRAWBERRY & BANANA smoothie bowl basically tastes like ice cream! A smoothie bowl is a thicker, heartier version of a smoothie, made with more fruit and less liquid. This version is made with strawberries and banana and topped with a dry coconut, fresh kiwi, strawberries goji berries and bananas. It’s ice cream-like consistency is perfect for eating by the spoonful, garnished with your choice of toppings, kind of like healthy sprinkles! Continue reading

Raw Carrot Cheesecake

morkovniy tart rawI have prepared this Raw Carrot Cheesecake specifically for the event “One Day Cafe in Tokyo.” The cafe was on Monday, and the cake I made on Sunday. The recipe I made at the moment of its production, adding ingredients and tasting. After café, I received two orders for this tart. Yes, if you do not know, I accept orders for cakes! I had to make two cakes just like the guests ate at the café, but I didn’t write a recipe 🙂 I again started to make this tart, remembering all of the ingredients and their number, but I could not prepare an exact copy, but it turned out even tastier! Raw Banana Poppy Bread

raw banana bread 4This is one of most favourite raw dish in my family. I learned about this yummy raw banana bread At Matthew Kenney Cuisine  Academy  two years ago. I am not allowed to share the original recipe, so I changed it a little to make a flavor more friendly for Japanese people 😉 Prepare this recipe the smell of Raw Banana Poppy Bread was wafting through my kitchen and all apartment, and before even to eat, all my family loved it! I love to use poppy seeds a lot, maybe because I am from Ukraine 😉

I use a sprouted oat flour in this recipe, but it’s optional. I am a big fan of sprouting and always sprout something every day! I love to watch how small “babies” come out 😉 You can order sprouted dry whole oats or flour online as well. Oats absorb moisture and also have an emulsify quality, this is needed to keep the bread together. They are also gluten free (technically).  If you don’t like to use oats, you could perhaps use all low-fat nut flour instead, which is a bit moister than oat flour so you might have to adjust the wet/dry ratio. Also you can use buckwheat flour, but it will give a strong flavor. You can find many recipes of raw apple pie and all of them are very similar, so maybe this is not surprise for you, but anyway, I would like to share it with you 😉 Like many raw vegans I have a not good reaction for raw cakes made from nuts with oil. So this apple pie cake  is perfect for those who looking for law fat sweets.  Its easy to make and only some ingredients you need. I love this apple pie cake! 🙂 Continue reading
