Most of commercial Medjools Dates in the stores are being dried and even pasteurized. Or they are old and steamed to make then soft and therefore seem fresh.

Medjools – the big ones, Grade: Large. Very sweet and meaty with a chewy caramel, dark flavor.

Dates are certified organically grown on Colorado river bottom land. Our dates are sold fresh, just as they come off the tree, not dried. So they are best kept cool and in air tight containers so as not to dry out.
